Discussion: “British Music: Alive and Very Well”

  • Stull Recital Hall 77 West College Street Oberlin, OH, 44074 United States (map)

As part of the North American British Music Studies Association’s biennial conference held at Oberlin in July 2024, please join us for a fascinating conversation with three of the most exciting British composers alive today. Moderated by Dr. Lucy Walker, former lecturer at King’s College, London and at The Red House in Aldeburgh (the former home of Benjamin Britten, now part of Britten Pears Arts), this discussion will feature award-winning composers Errolyn Wallen, Kerry Andrew, and Sarah Angliss. These composers represent a broad range of expertise and experience within British music today.
